There’s this underlying energy of deep compassion, understanding and emotional trust that the Universe is instilling in us this week. As I look at the astrology chart for the current transits, one thing that continues to stand out to me is Mercury in Gemini and Jupiter in Pisces.
Mercury - the planet of all things communication and expression- is sitting in one of its ruling signs, Gemini. And Gemini signals sharp and witty interactions, career-based conversations and lots of questioning and interrogation around one’s interests and education. Additionally, the rare Jupiter in Pisces transit comes bearing unexpected gifts that may be sparking awakenings and shifting our spiritual perspectives and practices. The combination of these energies feels like Spirit reminding us to stay compassionate and kind as we, and the people around us, figure things out.
It’s a blessing to have clarity on the direction your life is heading, what your career pursuits are, what you see for yourself for the long term, or what your purpose is… but not everyone is in there yet, and that’s okay. Keep this in mind in your interactions by being aware of not prying for information or oversharing because it could trigger someone who may be sitting in a void space in an area in their life. One thing that we’re all learning is that our journeys are so unique, so when we’re constantly sharing what our journey looks like, it’s easier for others to compare and plant seeds of unnecessary doubt and insecurity.
On the other hand, this week will definitely reveal things that may challenge our logical mind. There will be times that we’re called to trust or follow the thing that doesn’t “make sense.” Jupiter in Pisces is deeply spiritual, seeking to expand our perception and understanding. The divine could be opening you up to a new dream, spiritual modality, career path that could stray away from everything you’ve worked towards or been taught, but with luck on your sign, this could easily be one of the greatest gifts of your life!
Iya Calabash’s presence extends empathy, intuitive connection and spiritual connectedness, too. She helps us to be more mature in how we manage, express and perceive emotional and spiritual situations. Collectively, we are going to be more sensitive but sensitivity is a superpower. It’s reflective of how tuned in you are to your heart and your intuition. What are they telling you? Pay close attention to how you are feeling to sense what is an energetic match for you. One of Iya Cutlass’ strengths is intuitive discernment, with her third eye as her leading guide. She doesn’t have to see things in order to know they are real, she senses it, her higher self communicates to her, she trusts divine wisdom and never questions it. Trust what is being revealed to you, peep the signs around you too!
With compassion clarifying this energy, this is a time of emotional development and inner expansion. In last week’s New Moon energy forecast, I spoke about spiritual development and how our spiritual practices are being upgraded (and challenged). Really taking the time to see beyond our personal perceptions and give grace to those around us. It can be frustrating when you feel that you are taking strides to grow and develop, but Spirit wants us to stay patient and empathetic towards those who are still figuring it out and what authentic expression looks like. Release the judgment towards people’s process, especially the spiritual beliefs of others. It doesn’t have to make sense for you to make sense for them!
